Description

The Canterbury Cast Iron Fireplace pairs a steel body with a cast iron door, so it looks traditional while burning with modern closed-combustion efficiency. It is aimed at medium-sized living spaces and sits comfortably in both classic and contemporary interiors.

A twin baffle and internal air channels re-burn smoke high in the firebox, while pre-heated air sweeps over the glass to keep the flames visible. Top and rear flue outlets allow flexible installation, and the vermiculite brick lining holds the heat in. Controlled air intake means the stove uses about one third of the wood an open fireplace would.

At 5 to 8kW and 78.4% efficiency, the Canterbury Cast Iron Fireplace heats around 200m³. It weighs 65kg, uses a 130mm flue and measures 452 x 383 x 637mm. KIWA Gastec tested it in the UK, and it is DEFRA approved, CE/UKCA approved and 2022 Ecodesign ready.

*** Price excludes flue pipes, parts and installation cost. To be quoted separately depending on installation requirements.
