Choosing a built-in wood fireplace starts with the opening you already have. Our range includes single-sided units, double-sided and three-sided designs, and inserts, with outputs from 10kW to 25kW and efficiencies from 70% to 84%. You can choose from seven brands, including Kratki, Lacunza, Forge Fires, Heeta, Flamm, Chama and Piazzetta.

Measure the width and height of your opening, and the depth of your cavity, before you compare models. Each product page lists its unit size, flue size, clearance and weight, so you can check them against your space. As a general guide, smaller outputs suit smaller rooms, and 17kW and above suit larger open-plan areas. Double-sided and three-sided models let one fire warm two rooms or sit as a feature between them.

Frequently asked questions:

  • Do I need a flue? Yes. Built-in flue sizes range from 150mm to 200mm, so check the flue size on each product page before ordering.
  • Is installation included in the price? No. Prices exclude flue pipes, parts and installation, which are quoted separately.
  • How do I choose the right size? Match the unit to your opening first, then to the room. Our team can help you work out the right model.
