Description

The Lacunza Midi is cast iron from the outside in: a solid cast iron body with cast iron internal components, rather than a steel shell with a few cast parts added. Cast iron absorbs heat and releases it slowly, so the unit keeps radiating warmth after the flames die down.

It is only 700mm wide, yet it delivers a nominal 10kW and can reach 11.4kW. As a rough guide, allow 25 to 30 cubic metres of space per kW. The actual figure depends on the number of windows, the ceiling height and how well the room is insulated.

Built-in convection fans are included in the price, along with a 4-sided 50mm fascia that finishes the wall opening neatly. That makes it a practical fit for a smaller lounge or a tighter wall cavity where a bigger insert won't go.

*** Price excludes flue pipes, parts and installation cost. To be quoted separately depending on installation requirements.
