A freestanding braai stands on its own, so you can enjoy a braai without building a brick enclosure. Our range includes the Kamado Jan Gen 4 ceramic kamados in 40cm, 56cm and 63cm sizes, in Ember Red, Graphite and Bok Green, with a 30mm ceramic body and a Divide and Conquer Multizone Cooking System on the Large. The Super Deluxe Freestanding Braai in 800, 1000 and 1200 sizes and the Freestanding Ember Braai need no building or brickwork. The range also includes the weatherproof Wedgetail Wood Braai and a Z Grills wood pellet grill with Wi-Fi control.

  • Do freestanding braais need building work? The Super Deluxe Freestanding Braai and the Freestanding Ember Braai need no building or brickwork. The Super Deluxe stands on any level, non-combustible surface.
  • Which Kamado Jan size should I choose? The Gen 4 comes in Junior (40cm / 16 inch), Large (56cm / 22 inch) and X-Large (63cm). Choose by how many people you usually cook for.
