Description

When two-sided heating is needed across a generous floor plan, the Cristal 98 is the unit Chama builds for the job. It is the largest double-sided fireplace in the Cristal range, delivering between 9 and 15.5kW and capable of heating up to 470m³, with flame on both sides to serve the rooms it separates.

The firebox is made from steel and vermiculite and runs at 75% efficiency. It measures 980 x 520 x 552mm, weighs 184kg and connects to a 200mm flue, so it is a substantial installation rather than a compact one. You can choose a 51mm steel frame, an 81mm steel frame or a 100mm glass frame to suit the look of the space, and an optional ventilation kit can carry warmth into a neighbouring room.

If the double-sided Cristal 69 or 78 falls short of what your living and dining areas demand, the 98 is the natural step up. It keeps the modular design of the smaller models and scales it for bigger spaces and higher heat demands.

Returns Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
