The Lacunza Adour 800 Three Sided Fireplace solves a genuine practical problem: what happens to your fireplace during load shedding or a power outage? On most fan-assisted units, nothing, the fan has to run to stop itself overheating, so no power means no fire. Lacunza solved this by moving the fan into the floor at the back of the unit, clear of the direct heat path, so the included fan can simply be switched off and the fireplace still operates safely and effectively.
It comes standard with a 5-speed digitally controlled fan for active heat distribution, and it's the widest-viewing option in the Adour range, glass on three sides rather than one or two, paired with double combustion for more complete, efficient burning. Two optional hot air ducts are available if you want to push warmth further into an adjoining room.
Cast iron interior panels and a stainless steel removable ash pan round out the build, and like the rest of the Adour range, it carries the Flamme Verte 7-star efficiency certification.
*** Price excludes flue pipes, parts and installation cost. To be quoted separately depending on installation requirements.
