The Northern Flame Azar Freestanding Fireplace is a large, heavy-duty DEFRA-approved stove, which means it is approved to burn specific fuels such as wood in smoke-controlled areas. It has a cast iron door, a 10mm steel top and 5mm steel sides, finished with a polished chrome handle and air control levers.
Producing 12kW at 76% efficiency, the Northern Flame Azar Freestanding Fireplace heats approximately 340m³. Primary and secondary air controls are joined by a pre-heated Airwash system that keeps the glass cleaner, and airtight door gaskets allow an overnight burn. A chrome pull lever on the base opens a tertiary air vent that re-burns gases for higher efficiency.
The firebox is lined with vermiculite firebrick and takes logs up to 35cm. A cast iron riddling grate and removable ash pan are included, together with an ash pan tool, a glove and a manual. The stove weighs 120kg, vents through a 150mm flue and measures 580 x 410 x 610mm. A 5-year limited warranty applies.
*** Price excludes flue pipes, parts and installation cost. To be quoted separately depending on installation requirements.
